This Privacy Policy explains how CalcSolver (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use calcsolver.me. We’ve designed the site to collect as little as possible.

Calculations stay on your device

Every calculator on CalcSolver runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The numbers and values you enter are never sent to our servers and are not stored by us. Some calculators save a short list of “recently used” tools in your browser’s local storage purely for your convenience; this never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Information we don’t collect

We do not require accounts, and we do not ask for or store personal information to use the calculators. We do not sell or rent any personal data.

Contact form

If you use our contact form, the name, email and message you submit are sent to us by email through a third-party form service (Web3Forms) so we can reply. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry.

Analytics and cookies

We use Plausible Analytics (a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool) to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site. Plausible is cookieless and does not track you across sites or store any personal information — it only records aggregate, non-identifying usage data such as page views, referrers and general location at the country level. Because it sets no cookies and builds no personal profiles, no cookie-consent banner is required to use CalcSolver. If we ever add cookie-based services (such as advertising), we will update this policy first.

Advertising

If we display advertising in future (for example, through Google AdSense), third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your Google Ad Settings or via industry opt-out pages. This policy will be updated before any advertising is enabled.

Children’s privacy

CalcSolver is a general-audience educational site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
